What about this one for something
different, it's the Supercruiser: A
foot powered scooter with foldable
handlebars and 7" wheels (rubber
tread), claimed to blaze on the
streets and non skateable surfaces
such as grass and dirt. They even
have drum brakes in the rear for the,
high speed panic mode. We tried it
out and it did turn well, using the
same truck-like principals as a
skate, but it seems a bit strange to
hold onto handlebars if you're used
to a board. It was constructed well
and even worked in wet conditions.
Not skating, but not all bunk. Try it
out and decide for yourself... Here's
a new improved Seaflex model of
Bob Denike's design. It's 29 3/4"
long X 10 3/8" wide, a winger of 6
ply hardwood. It's tail is of the steep
nature and the board has an elliptical
concave. It took awhile to get the
new version out, but it looks like it
was worth the wait. A wise choice.

we're talking updated designs, a
peek at the new Zorlac John Gib-
son model shows quite a change
from his first deck. 30 1/4" long and
10 38 wide with a tucked in hips
and a V-type nose. It worked well
for most situations although it has a
bit more flex than non-winger mod-
els. Available in a slew of colors and
even clear natural wood. Go see it

Skates have been busy preparing
three new spoon-nosed decks. The
first is the "Born Again," a 10" X 30"
side cut fish tail, designed for all-
around terrain blazing. The second,
known as "The Stone Fish," 10.5" X
30," is for the slightly larger and more
powerful skater in any on-edge situ-
ation. The last in the new line is the
"Street," 29.5" X93/4" A functional,
square-nose fish tail creates pin-
point response. The D.T. boards are
complimented with the cool graphic

Venice, CA 90296... Madrid has
added some more new decks to their
large lineup. A new John Lucero
model measuring 10" X 30" has the
M-Tech spoon nose; a nice board
for vert and streets. Sharp graphics

Yes!... We haven't seen the new Ken
Park or Bob Schmelzer model, but
they might be in the shops by the
time you read this... The Sims 63 in
the hard 96 A durometer is one quick
wheel. On ramps, pools or crete they
really kick. They slide well and hold
when needed. Available in wads of
hues and durometers Whoops!

tached for making the mistake in last
month's Action Sports board,
known as The Terminator, not the
