In the world of skateboarding nothing
has held as much of a mystique or been
more of an influence on the level of skating
today than riding in empty swimming
pools. Pools have played an important role
in developing the radical, aggressive
approach that boarders seem to adopt so
easily. With all due respect for ramps,
definitely the most commonly skated vert
these days, and parks, which may or may
not play a role in the future of the sport,
there is nothing like a perfect, round,
empty deep end bowl to satisfy any skaters
fantasy.
