Oh oh! We've had a lot of write ins about
"Where is a list of skate parks?" It just so
happens that a couple of these seventies
"skatopias do still exist. We thought a
couple of parks had even risen from their
own rubble after being declared dead. Golf
'n' Fun in Santa Barbara was reopened for
business for a month then suddenly bought
out, closed and dozed within a week. Long
standing Endless Summer Skatepark in
Roseville, Michigan was destroyed around
the same time. Surfin' Turf over in Green-
field, Wisconsin is still in limbo. It was
rumored open for a couple of weekends
but has since closed its doors.
There are rumors of parks being built or
in the planning stages but, as the saying
goes, we'll believe it when we skate it." As
of this writing here is a list of open and
operating skateparks in the U.S.A.
