With all the goings on in Europe these days; Swedish Summer

championships, various ramps
and a good
skaters have had a chance over the past year to travel abroad. John
Lucero, Lance Mountain and Steve Keenan spent six weeks trek-
king around Northern Europe while Rodney Mullen and Steve
Caballero were jetted to Japan for a hectic schedule of demos. Mike
McGill dropped in to France for the European championships.
All of these travelled skaters, as well as their counterparts in
Europe report healthy skate scenes and rad skating in every coun-

try they visited. Gone are the days when the rest of the world was
two years behind the "West Coast." Skating has no boundaries.
Herewith, a report from our travellers and some insight into these
foreign, skate crazed lands.
