KAMIKAZE
So you've been a Thrasher reader
for a few months now. And of
course, more than ever you want
your first skateboard, but not
everyone has the cash to front for a
top of the line set-up. Action Sports
might have the set-up for your di-
lemma. The Kamikaze is 30 x 10
with a slight concave and is painted
with a rising sun graphic on the bot
tom. It comes set up with Action +
Trucks that are a bit heavy but have
hard bushings and a lifetime guaran-
tee to test out. Action+trucks are
also available in three different col-
or. If you enjoy a smooth ride the
Action +Wheels won't slow you
down over rough surfaces or chatter
likehard wheels. They're 85
durometer and are 65mm tall with a

prise. As I slit the end of the
cardboard box open, out pops a
Black Flag "Reason For Living"
board from Rip City Skates. The
huge Pettibone graphic of Joan
Crawford, with the four black bars
across her forehead really strikes
out, complementing the slogan
below: "REASON FOR LIVING!
The board measures 29 ¼" x 10"
with a medium concave running
through the length of it. This board
was designed for use on the street,
although I'm sure it won't cramp
your style to take it for an air on a
ramp or in a pool. Whether you're
