            A page full of balls, nine to be exact. Imagine placing yourself in
any one of these predicaments. Your average citizen is alien to these
realms, and, more likely than not, reads serious injury into all of the
frames. In reality, only a couple of these bails resulted in any serious
body contact. (L to R) Nell Blender does some of his best balls before
an audience. This one, at Tahob. Christian Hosol applies some quick
hand-jive to pull himself out of this one. J. Ray, rippin' bassist of the

Gator (above) getting intimate with the coping at
Del Mar. During a demo at a DIO concert at the
Santa Cruz County Fairgrounds, a board bounced
over the edge and off the head of Bill, the ramp
owner. Within seconds the paramedics were on the
scene, then (talk about lightning striking twice)
another deck rolled over the edge and hit one of the
paramedics in the head.
