I love your mag, it is the best skateboard
mag ever made. I read it every time I have
a chance to. Most of all I really like your
pictures of Christian Hosoi. Down where I
live, I used to skate at Crofton Skatepark,
the one on page 17 of the August '82 issue.
It is getting torn down because no one
skates as much as they did when it opened.

I am writing from Miami, Fla., where the
skate scene is mostly street skating. We
don't have any skateparks over here
because they were torn down. But we have
fun on the streets blowing unsuspecting
pedestrians' minds. On our quest for
vertical terrain, me and my friend once
went to a construction site and set up a
door to a wall and went up it and did
kickturns and fakies off it. It was a pretty
steep ramp and we ate it a couple of times,
but nothing tragic. I have never gotten air
before and look forward to going to a
skatepark soon up in northern Florida.
Your magazine is extremely radical and a
lot of people at my school can't believe
some of the pictures of aerials and stuff.
