CASPER THRASHER
Well, believe it or not, skateboarding is
still alive in Wyoming. There used to be a
skateboard team with a halfpipe back in
'78, who represented a local sports store,
but the owners of the store left it out in the
open over the winter and the nasty Wyo.
wind thrashed it.
Most everybody quit skatin after that,
except for us hard cores. Then in '80 like
the Phoenix rises out of the ashes, a friend
of mine built a totally radical halfpipe better
than the first one in '78. We'll be sending
some pics soon. We're making some
repairs right now, mostly us two skate it,
but we have a few skaters drop by
occasionally to check it out. You'll
definitely get off on the pics we're going to
send.
I also do a lot of freestyle-street
boarding, just love to terrorize the local
tennis courts-really gives some of 'em
heart failure. Our local sports shop also
quit selling skateboarding products. Well,
SCREW EM; I'll never stop Rippin.
Me and my skatin partner Mike will also
send his address, and if any skaters
anywhere pass through Casper, Wyoming,
they can look us up and have a session on
the ramp with us. That's it for now. Pics are
on the way soon.
