SATURDAY 17th
Here's the day we have all been waiting
for, the Pro/Am finals. After the second
heat of pros were run, there was much
confusion on whether to now run the pro
finals or am finals, to insure that the pros
wouldn't have to skate on a slick ramp, if
it ran long. The pro was ready to go until
someone realized that some of the
entrants were back at the hotel taking a
nap or something. So the ams went.
Followed by the pros.
The skating was intense!!! The head-to-
head system really made it hard because
of the heat. But when you want something
bad enough you give it all you've got.
Local boy, Monty Nolder managed a 4th place showing behind his California/G&S teammates.
SOVA RIFLEX
As Saturday night drew to a close, a
chosen few descended on Baucom's car
and dumped a bucket of piss and shit on
the hood. He deserved it.
Everyone was glad that they survived
the week, and even gladder that they
could return home. But we'll be back next
year for more punishment.

SATURDAY 17th
Saturday night brought hours and hours
of fun for all at the hotel. Schmitt's van
gets graffitied by unknown persons armed
with "magic markers." The couple in the
room next to ours gets into a brawl. Some
chick kept screaming while her boyfriend
kept pounding her. It only stopped after
the police came knocking at their door.
SIO, Barry's dog, gets fed acid by
somebody. The Variflexers keep going
after the little girls who live at the hotel.
Still no luck, boys. Baucom drops his
pants in front of those girls (maybe that's
why no luck). Billy Beauregard bought a
case of brew for the G&S team with his
winnings. Blender spends too much time
at the candy machine with his coat hanger
stuck in it. Allen "Mr. Carpenter" Losi,
repairs their shell of a door with assorted
skate hardware. Who broke the door in
the first place? The Boys from Brazil were
gone. Who were those guys? Really?

Facial and body contortions by Lester Kasai
helped him into 6th place and a few bucks.
Neil Blender slashes the humid night air at
Kona with his patented table top backsides.
Micke found the time to relax with a few games in the pool room.
A new breed of skater was developed.
