Geoff tipped me off that,
as far as Finnish names go,
the name Arto Saari is on
the tamer side. "His friends"
names are fucked!" he told
me. "Juicy Cornhole and
Hairy Poo-poo-non. It's so
bad that he won't even tell
us what his friends' namest
are anymore."
"What does it matter?
You'll just make fun of
them!" Arto told me when I

inquired about the names of more of his buddies. Turns out there
really is a Harry Poo-poo-non. Arto also has a friend named Bob
Bunsdorf. I'd kill for a friend named that. I'd call him "Buns," as
would all our friends. Buns Bunsdorf.
In Tampa, Juicy Cornhole was there. He really exists! He even won
vert. However, after checking the posted results, I was disappointed
to find out his name isn't exactly Juicy Cornhole. It's Jussi Koshonen.
It seems the jerk Americans took a few liberties with that one.
Good effort, though.

LARRY'S RIDE
Like the overall winner of the Vans Triple Crown, this
year's first place finisher at the Tampa Am won a car.
Southern amateur legend Larry Perkins drove it all the
way down from North Carolina to lay it on the line for
anyone who could skate him out of the top spot-a
challenge he was unable to face due to some
unforeseen parole issues (not to mention the
fact that his house arrest ankle bracelet
was "doin' some damage" to his
balance.) And although the
recipient (Colt Cannon) was
faced with a shit-or-shinola.
style predicament once the
title of the solid-gold
spray painted, white-
trash enhanced, fully
stickered, late
80s/early '90s Ford
Festiva was placed in his
raised, triumphant fist, it's still
something special to win a car.
