Lee Smith, f/s noseslide. Wells Fargo on the late tip, 3:00AM.
We pulled over so young Paul Rodriguez
could pull this 360 flip out the box.
stalked by a crazed man with a hammer. He
lived to tell about it, and made it back to the
hotel to share his tale. Only in Phoenix. We
went to the skatepark and were pleased to
find that our friends from DNA were
throwin' down a demo already. Shall we? No
doubt, we skated there for the day and repre-
sented for the little ones, much to their
delight. After that we did a little street skat-
ing, and after that proceeded to the Waffle
House. Now, this place was a cracked out
IHOP. It was hilarious; I swore I was in the
Twilight Zone! You had to have been there.
Another late night so by this time we're
pretty much exhausted.
Day 3: we woke up ready to skate and that's
what we tried to do, but for some strange rea-
son( maybe the planets weren't aligned? Who
knows) the fuzz kept breaking up our ses-
sions. We kept on trucking, found some spots,
hit 'em up, did our thing, batta boom, batta
bing... now it's time to leave the place.
Nowadays skating is taking a lot of people to
a lot of exotic places, and we're very fortunate
to have those travel opportunities. But let us
not forget the little places, the places where
the mullets run free and monster trucks thun-
der down the hot summer pavement. These
places are where it counts; so on that note, we
will see you soon. - Lee Smith
