What is the single most difficult part of
your life right now?
Switch flip kringle grinds or nollie
gazelle slides.
When do you feel most like the boss?

What do you consider your salad days?
I never really did salad grinds. Chris Miller
did nice frontside ones on vert.
At what rate do you receive sponsor-me
videos, and do you have a collection of the
especially memorable ones? What do you
consider must-haves for a young man to
include in his video should it be watched
more than once?
They've been coming in a lot more since Jo
Jo added the Jo Jo Gamble sponsor-me
department. There really hasn't been one
that's been Jo Jo approved. He has a few in
the vault that he's following up on. That's
something that has to come naturally.
What's your favorite no-longer-skateable
skate spot?
Downtown Vancouver, Canada.
Who is your favorite no-longer-skating
skateboarder?
Claude Reneux from Saskatchewan. Nice.

What is your opinion of professional
longboarders?
Sure.
What you got in your ghetto blaster
right now?
Darth Knuggs.
Describe a scary Sean Sheffey moment.
Probably any time he's behind the wheel
of a car. But his first time behind the wheel,
in Rodney Mullen's Camaro, about eight
years ago, leaving a rained-out contest in
Long Beach. He gunned it out of control
into oncoming traffic and slammed into the
side of a BMW.

What is a basic trick you can't do?
Ho-hos.
Describe the process of designing an
action figure of your likeness and
your reaction upon first holding it in
your hands.
It's a pretty simple process. You send pho-
tos of yourself, receive a prototype sample
that looks nothing like you, and then you
find out from someone that they've seen
your doll in a store before you've had a
chance to modify or
change anything. But
