FORTY-FIVE MILES OF DIRT ROAD, TWO MILES OF HIKING
with buckets, rope, brooms, boards, and rafts all add up to
subterranean skateboarding. Pipe skating is an art form
that few comprehend, much less participate in. From
Baldy to Amarillo, the missions are for hardy souls
alone. To be under hundreds of feet of water in
dark spooky places is enough to make anyone
wonder what they are doing. With the
advent of the www, it is possible for pipe
aficionados to locate, look at, read about,
and eventually go skate things that have
remained undiscovered for years.
