road. If you look around.

find something new.
That is exactly what I was
thinking when I planned
another cross-country voyage
with California being the des-
tination. Originally I was
going to cram myself into a
small pickup truck with two
others, but once word gets out
that someone is taking a trip, it
seems to have a domino effect
on your friends. Before I knew
it, I was loading up my 13-
year-old Chevy Celebrity with
the bodies of Stormy Pruett,
Gary Collins, Scott Treado,
and Sean Stockton. Following
us were Chris Head and
Jeremiah Babb, who had
everything of ours stacked in
the back of their truck.
