            What is your favorite skatepark?
Marseille, by far. Hands down.
Who else do you like to skate with, and why?
Paul, and a kid named Ryan Smith who's amazing. Paul's
roommates, my good friend Nick Parker, all the Eastern
guys, Jeff Logan. There are a lot of good skaters coming up
that I run into all over town.
What music do you listen to?
I'll listen to anything. I'll skate anything, and I'll listen
to anything. Sometimes it's Slayer, sometimes it's reggae,
certain situations call for old time rock 'n' roll, and certain
situations call for Santana. I'll even listen to the radio.
What do you think of the general direction of the world?
It's going pretty well. I hope we continue to strive to
cure all things that ail us, like famine and poverty. But in
general, the rich are going to get richer and the poor will

between the two. Skateboarding is going
to get huge because it's so accessible. All
you need is a board and a piece of
cement-you don't even need the cement
if your wheels are big enough. It depends
on your outlook, really.
What are your spiritual beliefs? Do
you have any rules for living the
good life?
I believe in God. I have read the Bible
extensively; from kindergarten to sev-
enth grade I went to Sunday school. I
was raised Roman Catholic, but after.
grade seven I developed more of my
own beliefs. I haven't gone to church in
years, but I still believe in God. There
are moments that I've prayed to him
and searched for help, but he doesn't
control me. I mean, I do plenty of things
he wouldn't agree with. But in the end,
as long as I'm honest with myself, I
know I'm going to Heaven. I'm in God's
good books.
