He was going to quit. I heard he was getting a farewell model.
Word was, his time had come and gone. It was as good as over for
the man from Oz. He was washed up.
It was all bullshit.
While I was swapping gossip with the industry goons, trying to
sound important with my news and surprise people with the latest
sponsor-switching scoop-while I was sitting around talking,
Matt Mumford was out skating.
I think that says everything.
