THE METROSCHETER
RIGINALLY, THE METROSCHIFTER WAS SCOTT RITCHER,
Pat McClimans, Chad Castetter, and Mario Rubalcaba.
Most of you should know Chad Castetter from
Endpoint, and you'll recognize Mario from ATM skate-
boards and the bands 411 and Clikatat Ikatowi. Well,
they're not in the band anymore. Today, the Metroschifter
is Scott Ritcher, Pat McClimans, and Chris Reinstatler. They
recently released an EP called Strawberries and are set to
tour in Europe. In fact, by time you read this, they will most
likely be on tour; they're international playas. With the
facts provided, you are now set to complete the following
interview. Enjoy.
1. So, you have a new record
that you don't actually play on?
A) Yes we do. It's called
Encapsulated. Scott here prepared a
bunch of demo tapes, which is
how we usually write records. This
time he gave each song to a differ-
ent band who covers the song, so
we have an album coming out with
thirteen bands doing new/unre-
leased songs by the Metroschifter.
B) What the hell are you
talking about?
C) We have a new record coming
out? I thought we just put one out
like four months ago.

2. Who all is going to be on the
new record?
A) It will be Burning Airlines, the
Promise Ring, the Get Up Kids,

Band, Joan of Arc, Rye Coalition,
Cooler, the Enkindels, Eliot,
Refused, and Ink & Dagger. The
record should be out in early 2000.

from most bands?
