After nine team years in publishing,
we have been called every name you cann
imagine: slash dogs, old school, depressing,
gnar-gnar, weak, bitter, ir ripping, kick ass,
negative, funny, and even flat. But one
thing that can never be said about us is
that we arent skaters.
We've been shot at, run over, busted,
punched out, whooped ass, broken, jailed,
stabbed, laid over, slept outside, pushed
uphill, and seen close friends die. All of it
has one common denominator: skateboarding.
Fat-ass corporate vampire types livin'
for the next photo credit or wondering when
the next trade show is are sucking the pus
off our open wounds and cashing the checks.
They rape it; xxx we live it. There is no
other choice.
Anybody out there who ain't down with that,
put this mag in the trashk, walk into your
bathroom, look into the mirror, and learn to cry.
