designer), now sadly departed,
his wife Dee, and also Kenny
and Eleanor Omond, all of
whom laid the foundations of
Scottish skateboarding.
The park is looked after well
by the local council. In the last
few years they've doubled the
size of the park, reworked cop-
ing, filled in cracks, and best of
all, hooked up lights around
the whole park.
Livi is one piece. I mean, you
don't have to get off your
board. There's a kind of half-
pipe/ditch with a bowled shal-
low end with hips at the other,
and a reservoir with flat banks,
escalators, etc. The newer half
of the park has a double mini
bowl with new metal coping
and hips into a mini with a vol-
cano as a spine, also with hips.
Last but not least is a double
bowl, figure-eight deal, shallow
4' and deep 8'/9' with real
manly cement block coping.
Livi is sick. Make no mis-
take what goes on here is
pretty much untouched by
any industry hype. The park is
visited daily by many, for one
reason only: to session. Every

Livi has a history of visitors.
Way back we had the Bones

Craig Johnson, Blender, Hawk,
Lasek, Halterman, and Kendall.
More recently there have been
Hewitt, Cardiel, Karma,
Petersen, Bonderov, my good

here by Mr Phil Shao (RIP).

There are so many lines here, but hey,
you should really come find your own. If
you've been here before, seeing these
pictures, you're probably thinking,
"How good would that be!" If not, it's
probably more like "How good would
that be?" Make the effort. You won't be
disappointed. Thanks to Thrasher for
your support of Scotland past, present,
and future.
Oh, one last thing... Believe what you
hear about the weather in Scotland-
but the park makes it all worthwhile.
Believe that too.
