skate to get out his aggression has
probably kept us together too. I have
more respect for this sport than any
other. Thanks for keeping people
skating for a reason. I'll be sending a
wedding invitation in five
years...we're in love.

shred your whiny ass on a board,

These following words are in
response to the ignorance of one
named Josh Lopez. What possesses
an individual to criticize skaters well
worthy of respect? In his let-
ter shown in your March
issue, he seemed angered at
the path skateboarding is fol-
lowing these days. This proud
Texan remarks, "Skating as
we know it is all lost." Well
apparently, over time every-
thing changes for the better.
Look how skating was back in
the early '80s. I'm sure some
skaters back then didn't like
how things were changing,
but because other skaters
kept innovating, skating is
more fun and challenging. If it
he wants to make negative remarks
and criticize those pushing to make
skateboarding better, then that's his
demerit, for those he criticizes are
respectable
e people, unlike himself. His
comments on Chad Muska and Peter
Smolik seemed coerced on the fact
that he is envious of their talent as
skateboarders. When I was
I was watching
Fulfill The Dream, I focused on Muska
and Smolik's amazing skating, not their
dress style. Additionally, his remarks
on Josh Kalis, Rick Howard, and other
DC skaters were of absolutely thought-
less criticism. How can one call these
skaters "stupid jocks" when they
deserve long-due respect for getting
up every day to go out and push them-

DCs are probably the stu-

of Payless shoes than DCs. And last-
ly, Jeremy Klein is an ass. He makes a
