EACH OF THE SKATERS on these two pages had a very special dream: to ollie, grind, slide or flip his
way into history via the world-famous Photograffiti. We make dreams like theirs come true every
month; all it takes is you, a skateboard, a camera,
and some gumption. Send your most valiant efforts
to Photograffiti, c/o THRASHER Magazine, PO Box

Clockwise from right: Sean Cox throws himself off the quarter-
pipe at The Pipe Skatepark in Janesville, WS as Terri Rhea gets the
shot. Young Joel Scharnweber, age 10, boardslides the rail at
Lakeview Middle School in Little Elm, TX. Photographer Jordan Scharnweber says, "One
time he busted open his nuts. I swear." Oldschool Sacto pool ripper guy Randy Katen at
his pool off Hwy 99, deep in the crank capital of the West. Photo: ASB Fooh. Pat Vaillant
took this photo of Neil Harker 360° flipping his way through a road trip from Ottawa,
Canada, all the way to Halifax, Nova Scotia. This grind by Dan Costa at the Fergeson
bench in New Providence, PA is of the crooked variety, and photographer Joe Giannini
likes it that way. Tasmanian devil Duncan Ewington takes some time out from behind
the lens to do a switch noseslide in Hobart, Australia, giving his friend Sean Holland a
chance to get the camera credit. A few years back, the words "hay" and "skate demo"
would never have been
e been used in the same sentence. But now that country music is all
the rage, Brannon John isn't afraid to take part in a hay bale hurdling contest. Photo by
Michael Louie. Photographer Jeff Yates told his friend Lucas Vidana of Tacoma, WA that
he could either take the window or the stairs; Lucas took the stairs-all 11 of them.
Renegade rock star Melvin Kwok is so punk that he barged this kickflip to fakie on the
mini-ramp before they even took down the orange construction netting at DK's
Mainstreet skatepark in Kokomo, IN. Photo by Mike Henderson.
