you see things a little bit different-
ly if you get a chance to take
yourself away from what you do
every day. We went for a road
trip and covered a lot of miles,
and when I got back everybody
asked me what it was like-so
I'll make it like an interview.

Dude, how was your road trip?
It was pretty cool, man. We went to a lot of places. We start-
ed out in Chicago; I heard there's a lot of skating going on out
there. Went to check it out. Went to some shops there and
hung out with some people. Seemed like things were a lot dif-
ferent than I thought. You know, I live in California and a lot of
the businesses seem to be doing good. When I got there, it
looked like every other business was out of business. So not
much business. We were skating around with this dude Uriah,
and he got popped by the cops. I guess this cop's name is the
Terminator. Straight up jack and tried to give us a little dose of
what they got going on out there. The cop looked at us and
said, straight up, "This is how we treat skaters out here." So we
kind of got the drift pretty quick. Right after that I decided I
just wanted to split. Chicago was a good place to touch down,
but we were quick out of luck.
