Here is the file you requested on the
skate/graffiti virus that has been
approaching epidemic proportions in
many of the country's inner cities.
Enclosed you will find a description
of the illness, two profiles of
afflicted patients (the second of whom
has delusional ideas that he is curing
himself), and numerous photographs
of patients who are ravaged by
advanced stages of the disease and
the physical manifestations of
their symptoms.
Symptoms: Subject exhibits anti-social
behavior, including but not limited
to: insubordination to authority, lack
property,
of respect for others
insomnia, and an obsession with an
abstract concept known as "style."
Diagnosis: Subject is clinically
addicted to skateboarding and/or
spraycan art.
Recommendation: We recommend a
two-pronged attack to stop this
radical behavior.
1. Try and break the subject's
spirit through constant harassment
by police, rent-a-cops, do-gooders
and heroes.
2. At the same time, incorporate the
subject's rebel culture into mainstream
society. This will eventually water the
culture down enough to the point that
it's no longer dangerous and can be
controlled and commercialized.
