"Peturd and Eddy Pusgetti are raw motivators in redefining gnar with no
retreat, do-or-die, self-sacrificing tactics that break down the limitless wall of
life. When these mutants come across your terrain, be ready to face your
hang-ups and reap the fruit of stepping up and participating in the freak show."
-Mattmo Fett
"UGLY."-PETER ON MATT
"Remember those days when wheels
seemed like they were covered by rub-
ber bands, when those who dared to go
fast were practically scorned for doing
so? Thank God those days are over and
done. Back in those days, however,
there were a few who really didn't give
a shit whose wheels were how big. All
they cared about was hauling ass and
destroying whatever terrain was in their
path. Matt, Eddy and Peter immediate-
ly come to mind when I think of the
rare breed that said, "Fuck you" to sell-
ing out and pressure-flipping their
youth away. Today, these freaks are
still at it, and little seems to have
changed except an increase in appreci-
ation for their high-speed antics. RIP
Happyland." -Chuck Wampler
"The three amigos of San
Diego-Pedro, Eduardo and
Mateo-are some serious outlaws in
Southern California. Their crimes
range from flying off forbidden
mountain tops to rolling into any
backyard pool you could imagine.
Put any one of the amigos on a
wooden U-pipe and watch it crum-
ble-twistin', flyin' and coping just a
cryin'. The midnight streets can't
even handle the heat that the amigos
reap. Next time you're under the
Southern California sun, take a look
around and check for tracks. One of
the amigos, or maybe all three, could
be lurking right around the corner,
making some more concrete bleed."
-Donnie Diedrich
"Much thanks to Peter and Matt for being as brutal as they could've been to me. Try
not to be intimidated by the way Hewitt and Moffett skate, but use it to your advantage;
you'll get a different perspective on how skateboarding is done. Skateboarding is in
my blood, and I couldn't have done it without Matt and Peter hooking me up and giving
good advice. To the whole crew and SRH, more hell bent sessions!" -Edgy Alioto
"A LITTLE PEANUT." -MATT ON PETER
Above: Pete shoots out on the
fish, but Eddy and Matt dodge
him all the same.
Right: The Nude Bowl and
frontside airs will never fade.
Eddy Alioto demonstrates.
"It was late in the evening
after some big NSA regional
contest in Phoenix. We were
leaving a skatepark that later
got burned down by gangsters
or something, and our chaper-
one, Stan Stanners, was driv-
ing the van all crazy in the
parking lot. The Dead
Kennedys were on, and every-
one was jumping around in
the back, playing rough. Stan
made a hard left turn onto the
main street just as "Viva Las
Vegas" started coming
through the speakers. At the
same time, Owen Neider
came flying off the top bunk
and crashed into Matt. The
next thing you know, the dou-
ble doors swing open, and
Matt gets sucked out. "Oh,
shit, Matt's dead!" we all
thought, as Stan screeched on.
the brakes. But when we
looked through the back win-
dow, there he was, 50 feet
behind, jumping up and down
in the middle of traffic. We
must've been going at least 35
miles per hour when he fell
out, and all he got were a few
little scratches." -Andy Harris
