Why'd you enter? To come
out here; to have a chance.
What's good about con-
tests? This one is good because you get to
see a lot of people from all over.
What's bad? Competition-wise, someone's left
out. But everyone can't win.

Immediate goal? Go back to Colorado, learn
a lot of flip tricks.

"SCIENCE FAIR BOY*
MAXWELL
Age: 24
Home: Charlotte, NC
Years Skating: 13
Sponsors: NBN and Queen City.
Why'd you enter? We got drunk and decided to
go on tour one day and ended up in Cleveland and I won it.
What's good about contests? Gettin' wasted and gettin'
free food and product.
What's bad? If you think there's something bad about them,
then there is, but if you just get so wasted you forget there's a
contest and just skate regular, it's good. Who cares if you get last?
Fuck it, you're drunk. Get first in your own mind.
3 Faves: Obviously Jeff Phillips, Tom Groholski and anyone
who's wasted.
Immediate goal? Get my shoulder back in shape and skate as
much terrain as I can.
