You guys are cool, but you would be
cooler if you had a page dedicated to
dick-suckin' rollerbladers and donut-
scarfin' pigs. Keep up the good work and
keep on corrupting innocent young
minds like myself.

HAPPY HOUR
Does s it seem a little uncomforting to
anyone but me that we deeply involve
ourselves in our work, therefore forget-
ting our problems and working more
efficiently? It is so hard for me to accept
our society with its credit cards and
checking accounts. Rushing against some
huge unseen force that can cash your
check across the country. Rushing to
put the mon
money in the bank. It's so
insane to me. That feeling of stress, that
is somewhat expected in our society. I
am very interested in living a positive life.
I want to enjoy life everyday. However,
these probing questions of our society
today and why we as humans do the
things we do always resurface in my
brain, making me crazy. Looking at all of
these questions and discrepancies that I
have with today's society remind me of a
passage I once read about the teachings
of Buddha. It stated that it is foolish to let
your mind and questions run around like
that of a monkey.

BOON DOCKS
I got my first skateboard when I was 6
and immediately started falling on my ass.
I busted my shin, my elbow, and my
head. Now I'm 15 and skating is my life. If

camps and rails are in hell, I'm
there. I've gotten a lot better
than just busting my bones and
falling on my buttocks. I got
them store-bought skateboards from
Sears and Wal-Mart, but they don't real-
ly do much for me. I got my first name-
brand skateboard from your mag when
was 13. I got trucks from Grind King and
wheels from Spitfire. If you're gonna g
a get
just any fuckin' board, get an Alien
Workshop, they kick ass. I live in
Alabama, so there's really nowhere to
skate, because there is nothing at my
house, except for grass, dirt and my dog's
shit that I step in once a day. My dad says,
"Life is like a beer, you never know which
one you're gonna get drunk off of." One
more thing, how do I get into the X-
Games? Well, two more, how do I get a
picture with my own name-brand
board, damnit?
