Jason Phares
Before taking up skating, Jason Phares' pri-
mary pastime was being a ninja. One of his
favorite ninja disguises was a trash bag which
he wore around his neck like a modified pon-
cho. With the sack in place, he was free to
roam around the neighborhood, confident in
the fact that should he be detected, he could
simply hunker down and camouflage himself.

With the ultimate disguise in place. Jason
was ready to take his ninja skills to the next
logical stage: terrorizing others. He soon got
his opportunity while intercepting a classmate
who was en route to the roller rink Dressed in
full ninja gear, Jason and a fellow martial artist
demanded the roller skater's money. When
he refused, they rushed him. In a fleeting.
attempt to escape, the victim tried to remove
Jason's ninja mask
"You never take off a ninja's mask!" Jason
yelled as he karate chopped the kid in the
neck. Needless to say, they got the cash.
Jason is 21 now and has since hung up his
munchaku in favor of an Anti-Hero big pigeon
model and the hills of San Francisco. He rides
for Thunder and Spitfire and is much more
recognizable these days thanks to his yellow-
tinted birth control glasses and buttery, all-ter
rain approach to skateboard riding
Look for Jason in the near future especially
to and from the roller rink. He's on his way up
