Bo Turner (professional skater sponsored by Alien Workshop) saw
Karma's latest board graphic and was a little upset about it. He called our
office to tell us that he wasn't happy with us "burning" his sponsor. We
tried to explain that the graphic had nothing to do with Alien Workshop,
but he just didn't get it. After the call, we realized that his call was really
a cry for help. We immediately got on the phone to Chris Carter (Owner
of Alien Workshop) to clear things up. He said he wasn't upset about the
graphic at all, and was unaware of Bo's sensitive feelings.
Apparently Bo feels rather strongly about aliens.
Maybe he was abducted. Maybe he knows them personally.
So to make things easier for him, we decided to change the graphic.
We wouldn't want to upset him or his little friends with the big eyes.
