We just got your letter and
BOY OH BOY do we feel silly!
We really took your suggestions to heart, but
before we get a new team or new ownership, we
thought we'd try a new marketing strategy, just
like you recommended. Hey, since we're located
in Northern California, so far away from Southern
California (the focal point of real skateboarding),
we sometimes get out of touch with what a real
skateboard company is like. So we thought we'd
try it your way. We printed your letter, and is this
the photo of Andy Roy you suggested?
And how about our new logo? It's kinda tricky to
see, but it's a letter "C", for Consolidated!
Since we're going to be a lot tighter from now on,
maybe you could fill us in on what really happens
in one of those "productive" industry meetings!
Oh yeah- don't worry, we'll stop resorting to
"crybaby tactics" from now on, after all,
you guys would never stoop so low.
