The East Coast
has more to skate
than the West, but
the weather is a lot worse.

Jason Monroe is one of those rare individu-
als who can rip apart anything that has a tran-
sition. He originally hails from Willits,
California, which is in Mendocino County, but
can be found practically everywhere you
might go. Whether it be Burnside, the Santa
Rosa skatepark, or any of the numerous back-
yard vert ramps found around California and
beyond, Jason is there, pulling tricks that you
haven't seen done for a while, but are crazy
nonetheless. Jason rides Indy trucks, Vans
shoes and Creature boards. There's not much
more to say about this guy except that he

I work at a pizza restaurant
and deliver pizzas on my
skateboard. All but two dudes
who work there are skaters.
What else do you do besides
skate?
I go to hardcore shows,
sleep a lot, work, eat and
snowboard.
