I know you, you know me. I've been
down six days for drinking. Now I'm back to
relate to all. People of today should recog-
nize skateboarding with awareness and
realize the origin, style, integrity of this pos-
itive action. Skateboarders translate through
boards, individual togetherness, unity, incor-
ruptibility. Check the point and live.

I'm on my spring break, and right now
my life sucks. Me and my friend were using
my dad's camper as a hide-out. We would
bring in sodas, radios and occasionally a girl
or two to have sex with. That camper was
Humpin' Heaven Hotel. The nights we
would have in that trailer were magnificent.
Well, my dad went out there today for who
knows what and saw that all the windows in
the trailer were open and that the door was
bent from us kicking it shut. He knew I was
going in there, and he started yelling at me
and telling me how the rain got in because
the windows were open, and then he gave
me a butt-whoopin'. He doesn't know about
the girls. I just told him we listened to the
radio and ate chips. I have no idea why I'm
telling you this. Don't tell anybody.
Neither do I. T-ed

I guess I can't blame a lot of people for
hating skaters when I see so much disre-
spect from skaters towards pedestrians.
Accidents are sure to happen due to the
nature of the sport, but there are some
things we can do as skaters to make it eas-
ier on us and them.
For one thing, don't ride people's asses.
There is plenty of sidewalk and street to
avoid this. Mothers sporting newborns and
elderly folks are walking about. If we create
a potentially fatal situation for them, how
can you blame them for being pissed?
Another situation is when you're ses-
sioning a spot, don't plow through, endan-
gering them. Wait for them to go by, or, if
the spot is too busy, skate elsewhere;
there is plenty of terrain.
True, there are tons of nitwits who start
crying when you skate within twenty feet of
them, but screw them. Don't let those wimps
give a bad name to your basic pedestrian
trying to get from here to there safely.
I'm not saying to avoid skating on the
sidewalk altogether; instead, I'm saying, as
skateboarders, we should show respect for
your average pedestrian.
