When I think of Dodge Skatepark in
Columbus, Ohio, there are numerous
skaters to mention. But one stands out a
little more than the others: twelve-year-old
Chaz McGee.
As he gets off the bus around 3:30 pm,
he promptly goes inside to grab his skate-
board. Out the door, he strolls up to the
skatepark, which is basically in his back-
yard. The locals greet him with a smile,
and in return he pops a fat frontside air in
the bowl and casually keeps carving
around Dodge's concrete like it's nothing.
Under the wings of his older, fellow
skaters at Dodge, Chaz has learned to go
fast, flow and go big. He and his friends all
get support from the locals, who make
sure these kids have skateboards to ride.
Chaz is a smooth little brother, who has
no fear and progresses at warp speed. He
currently rides for the Smelly Curb
Company and enjoys traveling to other
skateparks to ride anything new. His
carefree, fun, mellow outlook on life and
his skills on his skateboard will be taking
him to higher grounds in the future.

Hi, my name is Roger, and I know
Michael Thomas Bell. He's my friend,
and we like to skate together.
Sometimes he pisses me off, but
that's because he is better than
everyone. I'm serious. Well, Michael
rides for Zimbabwe and Positive, and
they're way cooler than your
sponsors. Bye-bye. -Roger Bagley
