As the last patches of snow melt away and backcountry avalance victims
are revealed, those not fortunate enough to make it to another hemisphere
toss their boards into the garage and turn their backs to the mountains. As shitty
summer surf loses its appeal, and the skateparks are overrun by little kids snaking
your line, you can't help but yearn for an empty powder field and some sick drops. For the
time being, though, you're sweating and cursing as yet another fool cuts you off. Here are

jet stream bends its way back down and the first
snows start to fall...
