CELEBRATING A DECADE AND A HALF OF GNARLITUDE and the crowning
of Chris Senn as Skater of the Year, Thrasher threw a rager at the Trocadero
in SF with music by Slish, US Bombs, Stiff Richards, MIRV, DJ Element, DJ
I.C⚫Y, Gerry V and Rafael De La Cruz. Clockwise from right: A trio of ruffians,
Julien Stranger, Julio De La Cruz and Curtis Hsiang, take in the limelight. Jeff
Klindt and his belle Krystyn cut a rug. Duane Peters and the US Bombs let the
night roar. Downtown Roger Browne puffin' a fat stogie. Satva Leung rubs
Mike Rafter's head for good luck. Hard workin' Carlos Vazquez and a couple
of wayward Santas. Kerry Martinez of Shattered Faith plays guitar in the US
Bombs. The guys in MIRV demonstrated a flair for impeccable musicianship. A
pair of superchargers, DP and Chad Muska. Jesse McMillan, Drake Jones
and a bottle of Malibu Rum. Chris Senn and Mandy stand by as Don Brown
sinks the eight. The bartender's professional demeanor received the full appre-
ciation of publisher Ed Riggins. Lance Dawes and Greg Hunt, lookin' dapper.
