This is a photo journal of five guys who travelled to Vancouver
Island and skated the towns of Nanaimo, Courtenay and the
capital of British Columbia, Victoria. With the skate
scene just a few steps behind Vancouver,
the island promises growth with several
new skateparks underway. Vancouver's
skate scene seems to be having a good
effect on the island. When travelling to
Vancouver, jump on the ferry and check it out.
The transitions at the Victoria park are pretty quick.
Syd (sequence) has lived there most of his life,
so 180' kickflips come natural for him
