LELLED
If dead serial killers
had their own Saturday
morning cartoon show,
this would be the
theme music.
FROM THE ASSASSINATIONS
of JFK and Marilyn Monroe to
alien spacemen and spacecraft
in Area 57, conspiracy theories
abound these days, but take a
look at the "J Theory" submit
ted by Windy Arden of SF,
concerning the mysterious cir
cumstances surrounding the
deaths of a few famous rock-
ers whose names begin with
the letter "J" Jimi Hendrix,
Jim Morrison, Janis Joplin,
John Bonham, Brian Jones,
Jaco Pastorius, John Lennon,
John Belushi, Jim Croce and
Jerry Garcia. Could the death
of Kurt Cobain herald a new
change of gears to K for the
nineties?The mighty Kill-
dozer recently completed a
tour of the US, spreading their
brand of tough love across the
nation. Drummer Erik Tunison
from Die Kreuzen handled the
skin pounding duties and
stoned guy Jeff Dizenberger
added a second guitar to
convert the Dozer into a nucle-
Car power quadruplet. Bassist/
vocalist Michael Gerald was

the Bottom Of The Hill in SF
how lucky their former drum
mer was to stay home with his

ing every night on the road
with the band. The world's
most lyrically prolific chronic
schizophrenic, Wesley Willis,
recently met with Dave Grohl,
formerly of Nirvana and now
of Foo Fighters. Though the
word is hush-hush on what was
behind this mega-meeting of
the minds, inside sources say it
has something to do with the
future of alternative music as
we know it Few bands in
the history of punk can match
the power and intensity of
DOA. Their latest, The Black
Spot, carries the fever in pure
DOA fashion. Driven by Joey
"Quit Calling Me Shithead
Keithley on guitar, Ford Pier
on guitar, and Brian Goble on
bass the speed and fury DOA
delivers is nonpareil and will
most likely remain that way for
the rest of time. There's all
kinds of ske brouhaha flying
through the air these days..
and a lot of it is preppy, poppy
sell-out crap without a skankin'
bone in its body. Then there's

the heaviest double bill of gui-
tar giants to come through in

Over the years Beck's mastery
