            Marc Johnson (previous spread) has

own private showing at the Museum
of Modern Art in Oakland. When it comes
to frontside noseslides on dumpsters, Mike
Judd (right) has it sussed. It takes a lot of speed
for Chris Senn (sequence) to complete this
frontside 50/50 to tailslide and we're
not talking about amphetamines.

I was always pushed aside and
ignored-unless someone need-
ed me to go skating with them
or do their homework, and sud-
denly I was their best friend.
Until the day Crusher Cartwright,
terrorizer of Gainesville High,
decided he wanted to put my
eyes where my ears are.
I had been walking down the
hall, carrying my skateboard and
school books. No simple feat!
Together they weighed about the
same as a well-fed baby ele
phant. So, I was trying to wield
my way through the crowded hall
without having any major colli-
sions. Suddenly, out of who-
knows-where stepped Crusher.
