Andy Bohna
Andy, what are you doing?
Chillin' with the Laffertys, listening to Wu-Tang.
Why are you here at Burnside?
'Cause I don't have a board, and my friends are here
with no boards.
What things do you like to do in your spare time?
Drink, walk around downtown and talk to strange and
weird people, and laugh at hippies!
Where are you from?
Vancouver, Washington, a suburb of Portland.
What separates Portland from everywhere else?
The variety of styles-you get a taste of everything, everyone is
friends, no one vibes or cares about doing the freshest tricks, and
Mark Scott is the sickest.
Who do you want to give shouts out to?
Mike Conway, the Lafferty twins, Palace Crew, Jordan Powell, Osage,
John Lohne, Little Mike, JG and the Seattle Crew.
Mike
Pragnell
Where do you live?
Vancouver, BC, but I was raised in the i
hub of the Maritimes-Moncton, New
Brunswick, Canada.
Why did you move?
Because Vancouver has the best skate scene
in North America.
Where do you like to skate?
I mostly skate the vert ramp at The Clubhouse.
Why do you think vert is popular again?
Because it's fun to watch, and all the vert pros haul ass. I think
Colin and Sluggo are the best. They represent everything in
vert skating: power, technique and finesse.
You like to ride your motorbike?
Yeah! I'll ride my RZ straight to hell.
Have you ever crashed it?
Yeah, some guy cut me off, I flew over his hood and landed
ten feet away on my back. I totalled my bike, but I walked away.
I guess skating teaches you how to fall.
Who are your sponsors?
Sonic, Boarding House and Payday Slacks.
Anything else?
I'd like to thank John Raimondo for everything, props to
all my bros, the East MBC, Red Dragons, Simon Woodstock,
Moosehead breweries and every skater from the Maritimes.
Oh yeah, the Balmers got gypped.
