            BRYAN IGUCHI
As a native So Cal surfer and
skater, Bryan Iguchi has been
tearing it up for years. On
the side, he began snow-
boarding a few years back
and brought his aggro skate
style with him. He started
showing up at pipe and air
contests and throwing down
things that no one had ever
conceived. Now when he
buckles in, Bryan plows into
the future for a whole new
corps of snow skaters.

INTERVIEW BY BRYCE KANIGHTS
What have you been up to lately?
I've just been doing a lot of rehabilitation
because I injured my back mid-season and
spent the last few months resting and doing
a lot of strengthening exercises.
Where did you injure yourself?
At Snow Summit in a halfpipe contest, I was
riding the pipe, just practicing for the finals,
and I hit a kink that I didn't see due to the
flat light. I had just pulled my goggles off and
took my run, hit a kink, and it threw me onto
my back and I got two compression fractures
in my back. It sucked. But now I'm back, and
I've just been riding in Big Bear and Utah and
Tahoe, and now I'm back in Utah, so I've just
been trying to go where the snow's good.
