BRINGING TOGETHER
snowboarders, skateboarders,
rock stars, wannabes and media
representatives from all over the world,
the sophomore year for the Board Aid event
held at Snow Summit was another raging success
for the Lifebeat Organization in their fight against AIDS.
Everything got off to a rocking start with The Goats on the main

Face to Face set, Todd Richards throwing 540's above the rest at the snowboard
high air contest, Danny Way, Tony Hawk, Mike Crum, Max Schaaf, the Pappas broth-
ers and many others doing the same tricks as the snowboarders without the benefit
of being strapped to a board, and Shaun Palmer using his motocross experience to
win the boardercross event.
A wide range of musical talent hit the stage including the Mighty Mighty
Bosstones, Face to Face, Biohazard, Ned's Atomic Dustbin and finally, the crowd
favorite, Perry Farrell and Porno for Pyros.
All in all, Board Aid Il was a rousing success, proving that together we have the
power to change the world.

proponent of clean needles, leads Porno for Pyros through an inspired set. The fattest ollies
in the business, courtesy of Mike Crum. Dicky Barrett grimaces after tasting the toxic
toast. In very snakelike (whoops) skatelike fashion, Jeff Brushie torques an
Indy air. Straight off the slopes, Todd Richards still had his snow pants
on as he pulled an Indy out of the wood chip. Shaun Palmer over-
cranks one on the well-sculpted halfpipe at Snow Summit.
