What do you look for in a good skate spot?
I look for no cops. Sometimes things will
strike me in a way one day, and I might think
that it's the best in the world, and the next day,
I might go there, and it could be the shittiest
place I've ever been to. So, I just look towards
each day and the feeling that I have that day.
What do you think your next step will be
after skateboarding?
I look forward to playing music probably for
the rest of my life, hopefully, and I have been
practicing and toning my skills and keeping my
mind open to different types of music. And art,
art just comes along with time and the feeling
of each day. So, those things will both be with
me for the rest of my life. And gaining more
knowledge about living in this world and living
in other worlds. I have a full schedule working
towards relationships and travelling with com
panies to far away places.
How do you feel about new age technology
and where it's headed for the future?
I say enjoy it now, people, while we are still
human. It's not going to last much longer. Your
jobs are going to be replaced by robotics, and
the world is going to be one giant machine, you
won't even play a part in it.
How do you feel about television?
Television is crap! It doesn't allow anybody to
think. It gives you it all, while it entertains you,
it shows you what life is supposed to be like
while it kills the incentive to have a life.
Tell me about your kids.
I've got four kids and I'm probably going
to adopt another one soon. No, I don't know
about soon, but eventually. They're not really
kids, they're not human, they're animal kids.
The oldest, Oliver, is 2 years-old, which would
make him 14. He's a golden retriever and I love
him very much! The second oldest ones are
twins, Shila and Sonoka. They belong to the
feline species. And the newest and latest addi-
tion is 12-weeks-old, a full-blooded poo rat
(ferret). Her name is Tsunami. I couldn't live
without them.
Who turned you onto skateboarding?
My father. When I was a baby my dad gave
me a skateboard before I knew about it. My
mom told me about it, actually. I was about a
year old. He always skateboarded before me,
and so that was one of the first things he got
me. I would just kneeboard around. I knee-
boarded all my life, just cruised around. I would
go down hills with my dad, and he would hold
me between his legs, we'd go carving down

pushed me as far as skateboarding goes. My
dad was there to introduce me to it. My uncle
had this quarter-pipe in his front yard. Before
I'd really gotten into it, he was skateboarding
and doing turns at the very top of this eleven
foot quarter pipe. It was kind of in the family,
but I was the only one who kept on it and
really, really, really, really, really enjoyed it and
thought, "That's what I want to do forever."
