My Friend Mike,
when Sonic started a
Couple of years back it was my
Jub to put the team together. I
didn't want to assemble just
any old team and I didn't
want just plain old skaters
either. Mike crabman Crabtree
has been with me since the
stort. I remembered him from
the skate park I used to work
at, he used to sneak in every
day and I always acted like I
didn't notice. But I did notice,
I noticed a 10 talent, Born
and bred in San Jose, Ca. As
time has passed and sonic has
grown so rapidly the pressure on
the team has gotten intense to
say the least. Sometimes I call
Mike at 2 AM and he has to
answer the phone with the
sheets stuck to the scabs on his
swollen elbows. The phone call
isn't good news, early AM photo
shoot, then film all day before
we have to leave town on a tub
week road trip. Sometimes I feel
like I'm a little too hard on
Mile, I'm sure he sees me as a
militant slave driver at times.
want Crabtree to
I just
know that
his efforts are
amazing and much appreciated.
After all it's for Sonic, we're
not just a team, we're a family.
