GABE ANGEMI
Gabe is nineteen years old and he lives in the city of
Philadelphia with his roommate Matt Kahler. He likes riding
big boards, big wheels, brown-haired girls and skateboard-
ing down the street. "Dodging traffic and ollieing over stuff
is the best," he says. Gabe usually skates with Matt K, AJ
Mazzu, Sean McKenna and sometimes Ricky, Matt or Sergie.
or maybe Jerry, Brian, Louis or Fred
Gabe has a combination of fast progression and strong
determination which lets him do anything he sets his sights
on. Not only is Gabe a good skateboarder, he is also one of
my good friends.

MIKEY CHIN
A thirteen-year-old who resides in Portland, Oregon,
when Mikey's not grounded, he'll gladly terrorize
Burnside or any street
spot. He's been skat-
ing for a long time
and has developed a
consistent style and
will commit to whatev
er trick he's trying
even if it means slam-
ming on his face. He's
definitely got the skills
to come up, and you
will be seeing a lot
more of this kid in the

How old are you?
Old enough.
How long have you skated?
A decade.
Where are you from?
Originally from Verdun, Montreal,
but I live in Vancouver now.
Are you having fun skating?
Definitely. But it rains a lot in
Vancouver at this time, so I only
skate The Clubhouse at night. I
broke my wrist three weeks ago,
so I'm taking it easy.
What are you doing tonight?
It's Monday and that's the big
skate night, so I'm going to The
Clubhouse with my friends and
later hitting the bar.
Where's your favorite place to skate in the whole world?
Montreal Olympic Stadium. It has everything, even cold beer.
Who would you like to thank?
The Boarding House, SAQ crew, The Clubhouse, Garret at
Etnies Canada, the MBC crew and my family Scott Serfas
