Tell me your age and where you live right now.
I'm twenty-four years old, and I live in Petaluma, California.
Who were your first sponsors?
Concrete Jungle and Thunder Trucks, and then Spitfire.
Who were some of the guys on Concrete Jungle?
Mike Archimedes, Jef Whitehead and Danny Sargent.
Who do you skate for now?
I ride for New School, Spitfire and Thunder.
What kind of skating do you prefer to do most?
Anything that's fun and fast. I don't like doing little things.
Do you like to skate vert?
Yeah. My friend Sean Stork has got a nice vert ramp.
What are some of the best places you've ever skated?
Me and three of my friends went out to Turf in Wisconsin, and
that's probably one of the funnest
places I've ever skated.
Do you like Santa Rosa skatepark?
I like the skatepark a lot because
it's a lot bigger than Benicia or any
of those other small ones, and you
keep your speed up. It's pretty fun.
Who's the gnarliest there?
Probably Jason Monroe.
Anyone you'd like to say hi to?
What's up to my girl, Cecilia.

Satva Leung
Age: 17
Sponsor: Toy Machine
As you skate among the spots of San Francisco, you're bound to witness the talent
of an upcoming kid who's in the midst of the session and smiling all the while. This
guitar playin', lasagna lovin' cat recently migrated to The City like many others for one
common reason-skateboarding. Satva is often seen in the company of Simon Evans,
Josh Beagle, Josh Kalis, and George and Alex Terekhov. Skating aside, he likes to
spend time filming, shooting photos and hanging out with young dishes. Satva appre-
ciates Jamie Thomas, Mike Ballard, the twins, Jeff, Tracy and llene at Humboldt Surf
Company, and Jake Jones for helping him enjoy what he loves to do. -Bryce Kanights
Jamie Fortune
Age: 17
Home: Portland, Oregon
It's hard to believe such a scrawny little shit can throw down big tech.
If you get the pleasure of meeting him, look past his stinginess with his
Marlboro reds and his whining about everything because Jamie can be a
really fun kid. He's usually the butt of everyone's jokes, but don't cut on him
too hard because he might get moist. Rachman Chung, Zak Danielson and
Matt Beach get props for putting up with Jamie the most. He freeloads off
Powell and Standard but rides with pride. When Jamie slams, the sound
out of his mouth resembles a cat's meow. You might have to sometimes
remind him how good he is, because
unlike most people, Jamie doesn't know
how talented he is. -Matt Eversole
