TRASH
LAST SHOT
The last video to come out of 1994 was the Forties Vid,
Amigos. TG lounged at his recording studio while the
hungry eyes ingested his visual feast. A long list of spec-
tators would have to include the names Swenson, Orkin,
Pang, Thiebaud, EMB, Dawes, and even Team Pierre
was on hand to lend tech support.
SWELL TIME
Turnabout being fair play, the surf/skate con-
tingent finally was able to go in the water. A
month of solid sizeable punishing northwest
swell action put career notches on almost every
one's belt. Chris Miller, Steve Sherman and
Chip Morton all scored numerous dry tubes off
Del Mar and La Jolla. The Fletcher Brothers got
huge slots as did Rainbow Man. Sparky tired
of slots at Todos Santos Island, fled on a private
jet to mainland Mex for bigger thrills. The gen-
uine Santa Monica Airlines crew reportedly fre-
quented a very esoteric open ocean spot.

Closer to Santa Cruz, Rich Metiver rode large,
and Rob Roskopp survived a serious bottom
