I was stoked
to see the latest
issue of Thrasher in
the store. I picked it up and sat in
the aisle and immediately began to
skim through it. The words "I love
Eddie Vedder" caught my eye so I
read on. Then I realized I'd been
tricked. The authors didn't mean
these words. I really do love Eddie
Vedder. What gives you the right to
speak for all skaters? In my 18 years
I've come across many skaters who
liked all types of music. I like both
punk and alternative. So stuff your
fucked views up your retentive,
know it all ass. Oh, and by the way,
I don't own a flannel.

October issue. I am also a huge
lover of alternative music. But for.
the person who wrote in to say that
he or she loves Kurt Cobain's music
and then to go and knock him,
that's wrong. He was very influen-
tial. He was a great man stricken
with a horrible disease. And if any
body is a sell-out, it's you. So why
