            PENDENT
I HATE MORNINGS.
Well, most mornings, but
this morning seemed dif-
ferent. The night before
was still a blur, but the day
to come would soon make
skateboarding history.
When Caleb Moore (left) smacked his tail
on the spine of the highly-acclaimed mini,
the sound echoed throughout the Zone.
Mike Santarossa (above) grew up there
and the rest is history: 360° flip over the
ankle buster of doom. Eric Koston (right)
covers some ground on a switch frontside
big spin. When the Taj Ma Wall was built,
everyone went "Whoo." Everyone except
Gonz: Eighteen feet above the dancefloor,
this disaster (for right) is gnar-gnar.
FAREWELL
