            JOHN KLEIN
How long have you
been skating?
About seven years.
Where are you from?
Plymouth, Michigan.
Do you like living in SF?
Yeah, you can cruise
the hills if you want and
it's still fun.
What kind of terrain do
you like to skate?
I try to skate every-
thing, but I haven't skat-
ed vert in a long time.
Who do you ride with?
Brian Young, the twins,
and just whoever's
around.
What do you like to do
besides skating?
I play the drums a little
bit, but usually I just go
skateboarding as much
as possible.
Do you have any spon-
sors at this time?
No, I don't.
What are your plans?
Just to keep skate-
boarding. I want to try
and travel around, go
across the country and
skateboard wherever I
can because I think that's
fun, just go skate all the
different spots.
How old are you?
I'm nineteen years old.
Anything else?
Just hello to every-
body I know or talk to or
whatever, anybody that
talks to me or says hi.
BEAR HUGHES
How old are you and
where are you from?
I'm nineteen and I'm
living in Jacksonville,
but I'm originally from
Gainesville, Florida.
Who do you ride for?
I'm sponsored by
Underworld Element.
Who do you usually
skate with?
Dave Duren, when
he's in town, Robert
Camp, and my friends.
from Gainesville.
Where do you skate?
We skate on the
Gainesville campus
late at night so we
don't get kicked out.
It has cool ledges and
marble stairs. And I
just went to River
Street in Savannah,
Georgia. It has crazy
lines and smooth
banked bricks.
Why do you skate?
I don't know, I guess
I'm just addicted to it.
Skateboarding is
something that I have
to do all of the time.
What kind of music
do you like?
I've always liked The
Smiths and Morrissey.
Is there anyone you'd
like to thank?
Yeah, I'd like to
thank Andy Howell,
John Schillers, my
mom, my dad, and
my friend Jennifer.
