Ever slappy a red painted curb at five hundred miles per
hour and hang up on a little chunk of rock at the end?
Imagine if that happened over a death box in a deep coment
pool. That's what backside Smith grinds feel like: Locked
and loaded while your destiny remains out of your control.
Notice how little of Dave Warne's sales (above) are actually
on his board. Tony Hawk has done frontside blunts for years
now. In this photo (right), the Birdman's knees, feet and
elbow are aligned on the vertical axis, hinting at the secret
of the trick. Chris Senn (opposite) is known for his speed and
accuracy while attacking even the smallest of obstacles. The
Brown Marble Benches feel the whoosh of Chris' fast back-
side 180° nosegrind. Check the stylish back leg, brah.
