Mike Termasky, RIP RESULTS
One of the most powerful influences in my life of skateboarding has
passed away. This man, with my skating, gave me the opportunity to
see the world and meet new people, and I'll always love him for that.
I first met Mike Ternasky back in 1984 at this totally disorganized
summer camp (which was one of the first). Mike was there to check it
out because he had some friends running it that were wrestlers. MT
came, saw all this disorganization, and jumped in right away. The next
year he took it over, and that summer camp never ran so smooth. It
was hype. MT was bitten by the bug of skateboarding, and wanted to
see what he could do further. He soon started H Street and the com-
pany flourished. To anybody that has come in contact with MT,
whether you liked or disliked him, his positive attitude made you
respect him and believe in whatever he was doing. Years from now
we'll be able to see Mike's true influences on skateboarding. I am for-
ever grateful that I had the opportunity to be his friend. Peace,
